Good day to everyone. I am working on skinning a certain character which i created in max 2009 using skin modifier . I have previously skinned other characters but somehow I could not understand why the envelops got distorted in diagonal fashion consistent with its respective biped source part which i angled according to the character's pose. I am having a difficulty obtaining the necessary envelope overlaps at the joints. I have tried deleting the present biped and replaced it with a merged biped from an earlier file and still got the same result. If this is a hopeless case, then may I just as well remove the present biped and replace it with a new one but then i would have to undergo a new series of adjustments to fit it unto the character. I could do that alright but I will evaded a learning opportunity involving this kind of situation. If anyone among you kind sirs and madams have any suggestion, that may probably help me overcome this predicament the proper way, please feel free to post them. Your judgment is better than mine.
