Panasonic / Sharp Shop
modelling in CAD and Max in 2 days (2 flrs)
Rendering time w/ DOF: 46 mins
I am using render farm, it is a combination of 6 x 8 core units + 6 x 8 gb of ram.
in an ordinary PC w/ 8 core will take these rendering upto 14 hrs.

Cool images bro!!Render farm huh.Nice setup bro..
But with these images,14 hours with 8 core?? There s something wrong bro sa material and render settings.. IMHO..

Re: Panasonic / Sharp Shop
these are good presentations... but i dont personally think it will get 14 hours on single quad core hehehe and perhaps on a core2duo...

Re: Panasonic / Sharp Shop
perhaps may mali nga yata sa material or rendering settings ko kaya inaabot ng 14 hrs ang single view with dof.
anyways thanx... wala na po si bhalonic. he has a bad reputation kaya u can call me otep
keep it up guys.

Re: Panasonic / Sharp Shop
bro these are good images but notice the objects are somehow like floating medyo dagdag pa ng shadings, more shadows and a bit of material texturing (dirty or something similar)... DOF is nice.... there's a way in max to prevent from rendering longer times.. and revision could easily be done in a snap without rendering the entire scene on rendering farm...
the technique is called render passes.
hope it helps

Re: Panasonic / Sharp Shop
if you're getting paid for man-hours, you could stretch the rendering time ad infinitum; well and good. but if you're not, a complete waste of time and pc power IMHO. great images, but nothing you could not produce with a mere core2 duo. in about 2 hours final render time. or less.

i agree with sir master chrome. . . these scene is not much heavy i guess. an ordinary duo core processor can boost this up in a few hours i guess.. IMHO.. besyds using proxy is an option.
Re: Panasonic / Sharp Shop
