Visual Effects Art Director

We are seeking a Visual Effects Art Director and Motion Graphics Supervisor who will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing the visual effects shots for our numerous TV Commercials and Feature Film Projects. The VFX Art Director will oversee the creative interpretation of all VFX work produced to ensure it meets the highest production values and outcomes to the client creative brief.

Applicants with the following skills are encouraged to apply:

• Experience leading a team of matte painters and CG artists to realise the creative brief

• 3 – 5 experience in TV Commercials/Feature Film VFX production

• Experience working directly with a VFX Supervisor and senior artists to translate a brief and visually problem solve

• A remarkably developed eye and the ability to produce accomplished photo real matte paintings and concept art

• Thorough knowledge of lighting, perspective, colour and mood

• Strong knowledge of both production and technical resources

• An ability to work in a collaborative environment and possess good communication skills
