Vertices goes WILD (File Attached)
cgp neighbor gandang araw sa nyo. this is the new project i am working and bumalik ulit ako sa cad modeling then file import to max. it's all good, until... when i am trying to move the vertices of an object ay weird result ang nakukuha ko (see pix below). ano kaya ang reason/s mga ka cgp?

move ung vertices to 10cm on y axis rendermaster... pag nagmove kasi ako ng vertices ang nagyayari is ung nasa right side ng image posted above. parang nag-scale

not sure about the problem, marami kaseng factor. would you mind to send or post the model even on that part/portion only

i suggest you do the modification inside autocad... it also happened to me...

sir keitsmark....naka "View" ka ba or naka "Local"
makikita mo ito sa transform bar nya sa taas.
dapat naka view ka lng.
naka editable poly ba ang mga to or mesh?
try mo e post ang tab modifier ng model.

bro sinubukan ko kung view lang, then normal este local, then ung iba pang options pero no avail, same result. i tried also converting to poly ganun din. after ng bind sa file link manager try ko munang galawin pero ganun pa rin. kaya ginawa ko iniwanan ko muna ung part na yan and continue sa other areas na walang problema. nauubos oras kakatrial and error e thanks bro sa pagdrop-by

got your file..... convert your model to mesh to resolve the issue.

uy thanks rendermaster, now this is strange coz' i tried it already... bakit kaya? there is no way i can move it correctly in poly's? lumalaki kasi ung number ng poly pag convert ko ng mesh. sanay kasi ako sa poly rather than mesh e
Solve na to rendermaster salamat talaga hindi yata talaga pwede pag polygon lalo na galing sa cad tapos puro curves next time ulit mang-aabala ako

you may convert it back to poly if you wish and the number of polys will change back to the original number.
- convert it first to mesh, then convert it back to poly then edit...
