how to make classical ballustrade on spiral stairs

mga masters, ask ko lang paano ko didiskartehan ang ballustrade nang classical spiral stairs. i have already my model, hirap lang ako sa ballustrade? salamat mga master in advance.

sori sir wala po ako idea. chinek ko lng po pala magkaroon din idea sa mga isusuggest ng mga masters ng org..
sir paano nyo po pala tinwist ung stairs at handrails??

sir sa 3dmax2009 ko ito ginawa, under sya sa geometry/stairs/spiral, then may mga modifiers naman sya like radius, carriage, riser ht, thread ht, etc. including the railing (specs).

ah, salamt sa info sir.. meron din kaya yan sa 3dsmax 2008 sir mammoo?, kala ko kc manual mo minodel un stairs, baka dun tau makakuha ng hint para sa mga ballusters na ilalagay. antay po tau opinion ng iba sir.

anu po balak nyo dyan sir? move vertices tapos gamitin nyo po mga edges to create shape?, then enable in rendering and viewport? pede po para sa akin kung simple ballusters lng. or kung complicated naman design, gagamiotin nyo ho ba yan as guide lng?

balak ko sir, kuha nalang ako nang image nang wrough iron na classical then gawan ko ang stencil, then displace lang, i hope okey na ito.

stencil? un po ba ung may balck & white? un parang style sa dahon ng puno?, pede rin po cguro sir? kaso panu ung pagkaround at difference ng elevation ng mag points? magUNWRAP UVW po ba kau sir? sir share nyo po ung result kung effective ung method a, salamt sir.

sir mammoo mukang nagkakaidea na po ako sa binabalak nyong diskarte.. mukang uubra po, sana makahanap kau ng magandang image for that

tama kayo sir anthony, i guess magandang mapping ang kukumpleto nang rekado (tipong seamless para hindi halata ang pag curve nya, hayyyy, mga master baka meron din kayong mapping dyan nang wrough iron railing, enge po, markleo03@gmail.com salamat nang marami. pag successful ito, gawan natin nang tutorial, "how to make a spiral stair", ahihihi...

bro kung wrought iron lang ung design kaya nasabing classic ay gawa ka na lang ng isang pattern thru spline then gawin mong enable in renderer at viewport tapos bigyan mo ng values up to your personal preference... then array mo na lang... merong option din ng height sa array...

can you post your reference picture ng design bro? para mas magka-idea tayo kung paano atakehen yan sa modeling...

eto sir sana mas malinaw...
1. import mo sa max ung reference plan ng stair and include mo na rin ung centerpoint or crosshair ng center ng spiral mo sa plan para un ang gagamitin natin na pivot point pag -aaray.
2. model mo ung isang pattern ng wrought iron... either thru spline or modeling method you prefer...
3. place it sa base... or sa top... then modify its pivot point place it on center of circle (from imported autocad plan).
4. go to tools > array > put values 360 degrees and height is = say > 20cm then hit preview...
5. kung hindi sakto... ulit ka lang from step number 2 onwards... importante bro is ung pinaka model mo ng pattern dapat sakto ang trim ng handrail and curvature para sakto ang kabit pag-array...

pero kung wala ng time ay ok na ung idea mo na opacity map na lang...

okei ung idea ni sir keits...! sir mammoo ask lang ako pano mo triml ung plane s thread ng stair saka s handrails... just curious...!

gawa ka ng balusters separately, then i-tool>spacing tool mo sa spline. good luck!

@ sir stryker, bale nag gawa ako nang line/arc, then extrude up to the top handrail, then edit poly/vertex, nilagay ko yung every vertex sa middle portion nang handrail and tansa ko nalang yung sa area nang thread.

bro trim command in autocad can be used in max... on a separate approach but same result... just select mo muna ung spline/line then insert vertex tapos press 1 to activate vertices then itapat mo dun sa length na gusto mo lang matrim ung vertex tapos press 2 to activate edge then select the edge you want to trim then delete...
