actually bro. meron context bakit walang ceiling hehehe. ganito yun.. meron akong minodel na lighting sa sketchup. kaya lang nung iexport ko hindi ko pala naka group. so ngayon nung makita ko kamaterial ng ceiling. tinamad na ng magrender kaya yun crop nalang. hehehehe.

bakit pogi ka naman ha.. ewan ko lang para sa akin kasi napakahalaga ng contrast ng light sa shadow.. kapag yung scene ay light normally makikita mo na napaka bland. the play of light and dark also will highlighlight the form. lastly the set up i guess is using the rule of third...sige hayaan mo magkakaroon tayo ng element of design section tutorial..

actually there is no such as misinterpretation.. Sketchup is sketchup and forever it will be use for modelling. Sketchup has no rendering engine at all, di katulad ng max na meron syang scanline...the problem is not sketchup but rather vraysketchup is not yet as fully develop as vraymax. and second vraymax as plus by having ready made evermotion models with vray materials na.
therefore to produce a good render to max is easy once you got the difference between the two.

so for me nga walang tatalo sa easeness ng sketchup when it comes to applying materials.. sa max you need to use UVW unwrap modifier.anyhow compliment nga ang dalawa in the end diba?
