Re: Daylight Test(Master's Bedroom)
Alam mo para ma test mo ang lighting skills mo, dispose off all your colors, make the objects gray and light them one at a time. Unahin mo ang natural coming in from the openings, once na ayos na siya saka mo buksan ang artificial lighting sa room. Kaya marami ang nalilito sa lighting kasi lahat ng ilaw biubukasan at the same time. Doing so won't allow you to see the illumination contribution of each light source. Which makes lighted renderings look bland, aritificial, overexposed and uninteresting.
Remember: Turn and set your lights One at a time.
Once you've perfected the lighting on your grey objects - bring back their color and diffuse, I'm sure kahit ano pa ang kulay nyan - they will look well on this lighted room, just like in real life.
PS. Bakit halos lahat ng nakikita kong draperies, kumot, beddings ay superdupersobrang kapal at parang isang tonelada ang bigat? (exageration!)? Para syang 20 kilo na goma o kaya down futon. It makes your images look fake because on a sunny bright day - you're projecting a winter or cold scene (you wouldn't use an inches thick kumot on a hot day isn't it?) and yet the overall tone is warm.. Doesn't fit. When setting scenes, imagine yourself in there - if it feels strange in real life - then it is strange even in CG.
And oh, somethings peucliar about the shadows cast on the floor, if it's area - it should blur the farther it gets from the edges of the shadow casting objects. Right now, the blur is even making me think its a shadow map. If you are going to fix the light, try to nudge it a few units to the right or left - the angle is sooo parallel to the walls making it look - well, computer graphicky in tagalog, Sinadya which you'll seldom find in nature.
