tannong ko lang kung paano maglagay ng rpc objects sa 3ds max...

To use RPC

1. install your rpc plug--ins
2. open 3d max, go to creating and modifying panel


3. browse down and select rpc browse to your libraries and select the rpc you want
4. then drag to drop it on your viewport.

yes it can be rendered with vray from max 9 and below....

but with max 2009 theres a little bit problem, because when you first render it the rpc texture wont render. you need a second render for the rpc texture to come out.

But its just a little issue. at first render, just make a region render on rpc part, then render again for the full view.

for the rpc shadow.... hmmmm i let you know sooner if my rpc shadow generator script will work...but some rpc i think can render with shadow. there some tweaking you can do for the rpc to have shadow.. post it here later the techniques.

for max 2010, i think the rpc plugins is already release....refer to thier website

sir skin nman po wala ung mga rpc files..ndi k makta sa roll outs.paano k po mapalabas ung mga rpc files?

1. Run / activate your Archivision Content Manager, normaly it start when computer start. so i assume its already working in your computer.

2. the next step is hit Configure Content, its just below the message center

3. On Update Tab, just below the dialog box of Content Manager, tick the box "Force the ACM to rescan its path"

4. Then Hit update tab.

if the above procedures dont work, then go to nos. 5

5. Search all your RPC File and Relocate it on this folder C:\RPC, just paste it there.

6. Then Proceed to nos. 2 procedures until nos. 4

note: RPC have some issues with vray especially on Max 2009. Its just gray on the first attempt render. To get rid of these, render first with scanline ( even a small size) then switch to vray for final render

rerender for the second time. for the shadows... some rpc dont have shadow, others have. Check mo lang sir, select your rpc, modify then tick shadow. if it have good, if it have but still the shadow dont show sorry about it. Its a plug-inns issue.

ok....try ko rin iyon rpc shadow creator ko sometimes kung magwowork. i ll post here later.

note. 1. you can also use rpc in photoshop, in case 3dmax failed. download their latest rpcpluginns for photoshop. install it, open photoshop, open your file to be edit. go to file-->> automate-->>rpc automate.

2. If you are using windows vista, download the latest ACM it will resolve the issue regarding the rpc linking procedures. Just go to Archvision website for software download.

patanong nmn p mga bosing, sa max 2010 ba hindi gumagana ang shadow ng rpc? ayaw sakin eh, ok sana kasi mas magaan ung file pero walang shodow, any idea po? thanks

not all rpc are capable to produce shadows. and if you really want your rpc to have shadows, install rpc shadow generator. however shadow generator are not meant to run with mental ray and vray.

kung saan hahanapin ang rpc shadow generator. just refer to thier sites ARCHVISION

problem nga yang shadows ng RPC minsan tlga ayaw lumabas. its either i-rereload mo pa ulit or switch content. haiz.... makabili lang tlga ako ng onyx and other foliage programs tatangallin ko na yan. hehe.
