need help po - error on installing vray for 3dmax2009

hi poh sa inyo mga cgpips...need ko lang poh help nyo about error installation ng vray sa laptop ko...dati na po naka install dito sa laptop ko vray fnung i try ko ulor max2009...kaso kahapon while on training namin sa pinoycad bigla nalang na corrupt at nung try ko ulit i install nag eerror na po sya...hope matulungan nyo naman poh ako i fix problem ko sa pag re install ulit ng vray ko sa laptop...post ko din po error message while installing...

what os mo? if vista use right click then administrator, kasi sa vista sa office namin ganun palagi lumalabas error pero naggamit ko naman ung vray dun,

cabalen, masanting a aldo keka, palagay ko may damage yung installer mo,try mo ulit mag download ng iba

sir novice - opo vista nga po os ko sir kaso pag open ko ng 3ds max ko then yung 1st & 2nd na messages na post ko yun ang nag aappear...at pag ignore ko naman sa mga messages na yun then sa assign renderer wala yung selection ng vray demo 1.50.sp2...bale dalawa lang nandun yung mental ray renderer saka vue file renderer...pano po yung sinasabi nyo sir na right click then administrator?san po ako mag rright click? tnx po ulit...

sir namby - cabalen mayap a aldo mu rin keka...kamusta po? baka nga siguro sir me damage na installer ko...try ko po download o copy ng iba at re install ulit...tnx po

have you tried system restore? most often than not kasi system restore can do the job... un ang una kong ginagawa then kung hindi pa rin magwork-out saka pa lang ung reinstallation ng software. in your case... did you remove the plugin first sa control panel? did you remove all the folders and files related to vray on your drive c:? kasi sa screenshots mo you are overwriting the previous installed vray... linisin mo muna manually lahat ng files na nilagay mo dati bro after uninstall sa control panel.

Sir Kindly Check the version of your 3dsmax .. kung 32bit make usre na ang installer mo ng VRAY 32 bit din .. kung 64bit ang Max mo . 64bit din ang gagamitin mo .. check mo lng sir something wrong with the version i guess if not try to remove manually ang VRAY sa plugins mo din reinstall again ... hope naka help if not pa rin .. kita kits na lng sa FRIDAY

same yan sa akin sir dennis nakavista rin laptop ko.ilang beses namin install reinstall yan vray.basahin mo ung doc... andun un.run as administrator yan. try mo lng....

gud morning po mga masters...sensya na po di ako kagad naka reply kasi ang work ko po is sa abu dhabi na at dinala ko nalang laptop ko para ayusin dito...with regards po sa mga payo nyo sinunod ko po lahat at maraming maraming salamat po at naayos ko na rin sa tulong nyo...ginawa ko po is pati 3dsmax2009 ko ay unstall ko pati na rin vray, then install ulit at sa vray naman sinunod ko sabi nila sir novice at balongeisler na i run as administrator yung installer ng vray...just selsct the vray installer and right click then choose run as administrator then ok na di na nag-appear yung mga error...

1. after you have installed vray, press f10 and the render dialog box will pop-up go to common tab and assign vray as your renderer. kase kung naman ang installation, for sure it will appear there. anyway try it muna sir and buzz us up for the development.

sir ginawa ko na po yun. f10 tapos yung dialog box nag appear. nandun lang yung metal ray saka yung isa pang defult render.

na check na din ni novice. talagang hindi po nakikita

short story:
yung unang na-install ko kasi 3dmax 2009 saka vray 1.5 rc3.
hindi gumana yung vray, di nakikita sa assign render.

tapos naghanap ako ng solution.
hindi pala compatible yung 3dmax 2009 and vray 1.5 rc5

dapat 3dmax 2009 sp2 or sp3.
naginstall ulit po ako non. ayaw pa rin.

tapos tip po sakin wag kong gamitin yung 3dmax 2009,
gamitin ko yung 3dmax9 [yung 2008 version] para gumana
sa vray 1.5 rc5.

na-install ko yung lahat. kaso.. bitin po ang success..
dun sa pag aasign ng render. hindi sya makita talaga sa common.

eh bat gagamitin mo ang vray na panahon pa ng kopong kopong eh mayroon naman na compatible for max2008/2009 na vray service packs. Sp3 or sp3a.

There is no guarantee that the rc (release candidates) will ever work for new versions of max. Release candidates were programmed to work on previous max versions dahil wala pa noon ang Max2008/2009.

mam rhut...ano poh ba OS ng pc o laptop nyo? vista rin poh ba o xp? tapos ano poh ba 32bit ba o 64bit? dapat po parehas sila kung 32bit yung max nyo then pang 32bit din dapat vray nyo...if 64bit na max then dapat ganun din vray pang 64bit din...

kasi marami ng version ng vray sa loob ng pc at kailangan
yun malinis kasi maraming ng mga .dll na vray sa program
files at windows.
at re-install na lang ang 3dmax2009 at vray sp3

os ko windows xp. 32-bit po. ayoko kasi mag vista. sensya na old skol yung utak ko kailangan i-update. ^^

All the vray installers that you all pass around has a thumbprint starting from the time it was downloaded from the support area at chaosgroup. Which means - it is being tracked.

I hope that the forums will be a little strict when it comes to piracy. Saying just pm me for so and so in the forums is the same as explicitly telling how to go around software protection.

Vray is a very expensive product if you are basing it on the value of the peso. But if you work for a company and somebody else signs the checks - it would do you good to convince them to make an investment. Isa pa, if you earn money from your vray renderings - that means, you can, and ought to buy it.

Isa pa, you'll learn a lot from their support which is uber excellent btw.

There is infact a discussion about that by bokkins somewhere I cannot remember lang ang thread number.

If you are a licensed vray owner, never ever give away your installers. If it end up somewhere and chaos decide to track the source - your company details will be the first to appear.
