If you mess up with the default UIs, there's no need to reinstall max, just go to Customize and Load a UI scheme. You will also find in there the default UI which you can go back to.

If you have a UI scheme that you use, uis from scripts etc. Save that as a file and load again if something goes wrong or you accidentally mess that up.

Of course, its a pain if you are using a custom UI, something goes wrong and have no saved copy of the same UI. You have no resort but to load one of the presets.

And you'll have to start customizing it again.
Lesson learned here - always backup any customization you do in Max.

it's so good as what it says. "customized."

it's supposed to help you work around faster and better. 1 more good thing about it is you can copy it from 1 pc to another.

kasama dyan sa customized ay mga buttons, colors and keyboard short cuts. very convinient.

if you mess it up. reset mo lang or load the defualt. but I doubt you'll ever mess it up. good luck! Smile
