ok ang rendering....yung stone wall i guess pwede pang improve.
As for the DOF, try mong angle ang camera, para mas dramatic ang dating.
Very good, aprub na to sa akin.

Re: Interior Practice w/ DOF (Unang subok)
I think you should spend more time fixing the basics first.
First case in point - Ground contact shadows.
Ask yourself, does my objects look like they are floating?
Does my shadows, soft and raytraced got enough density?
For materials;
Does my bumps make my seat leather? Or does my falloff good enough to make them look like cloth? Does my curtains look like transparent plastic? Do I have enough refractive glossiness in them?
If the answer is no then you need to fix them first before hitting it bigtime with DOF and all those extras. With or without DOF, a carefully planned setup with look good. Don't think that since DOF blurs the background - you can get away with some inferiorities in the scene. Wrong.
And oh, unless you are wanting to tell a thought-provoking story, ask yourself: The person who lives here got enough money to buy an Iphone but no money to buy even a lighter?
You know, you can do better, CG is no smorgasboard - as I have written a million times here, if you want your viewers to connect with the image, populate your scenes intelligently. Everything should be there for a reason!
Goodluck!

Re: Interior Practice w/ DOF (Unang subok)
And oh, I don't know if you photoshopped the dof or not but there is no physical phenomenon where objects that were blurred by the depth of field will appear sharp in their reflections or refractions. Utterly wrong.
Re: Interior Practice w/ DOF (Unang subok)
Hehehe nice dude, tama nga si Master Ate V, yung dof may sablay, try to look the reflection of the glass table dapat, hindi yan sharp dabat blurred din
parang ginamitan mo lng ito ng Blur tools sa PS ha hehehe, but any way nice try.. Keep Posting
