Simple Interior 2
First topic message reminder :
Matagal ko na itong ginagawa...mga ilang months na rin. Since I was able to get some freetime at work, I decided to try to finish it. Done in meters unit, using vray sun/vray physical camera combo.
Another one of my practice renders. Medyo artsy naman ng konti. Hope I got it right, design is not the focus in this image, but rather the ability to render using vray's new features in a metric environment. Yung early vray sun/cam studies ko was done in millimeters kasi.
Comments are welcome.

Re: Simple Interior 2
Bat andaming sipsep kay Edmund?
Seriously now Ed, I think it would look even better if you'd try to break the symmetries. Different statues, different positioning of the sofa pillows etc... In real life situations - everythings almost in disarray, at random specially if you want to project that people actually do live in this space.
Also try to show your light sources. Both natural and the artificial lighting that would come from the lamp shade and the ceiling fixtures. Lights breaks the monotonous look of open spaces. They create shades and shadows that project distance and dimensions among the objects in the scene. Very important.
Layout wise, I'd probably show more of the Left chair. You could raise the cam up and show the sillhoutte - so that it won't take time or any effort by your viewers to visually pickup what the object in the left was.
I'd love to light this someday!
Goodluck.
