Public Speaking...

How are you at it? Personally it's a skill that I've been working on for a while now. However, I still
get very anxious before a presentation - butterflies in my stomach - But for the most part, I do get through it.

I've got a presentation in front of the whole staff tomorow, about 200+ people, including the chairman of the Americas region, all the Principals, Engineers, Designers and our Group manager! For 15 minutes, I'll be there in front of everyone presenting the current works that my group has been doing.

Anyway, it's late (2am), I can't sleep...but I have to try!

What a night! The staff meeting went on as planned, and my part of the presentation was a hit! Except for a minor hiccup in the beginning (try to say design visualization specialist - three times - fast -, lol) my voice came together clearly and smoothly after that. I got through all my subject points and was congratulated by a job well done all across the board - and lots of inuman afterwords

sir dont forget to pray, kasanga mo yan, sigurado na approved yang presentation nyo, pag dumating na yung portion nang q&a, eh, siguradong mawawala na yung iyong kaba. kung baga sa makina eh, painitin muna. hehehe.

OT: Very important public speaking. kaya gusto ko din i impart sa mga members natin na very important na i-try nyong wag magtext speak. In that way, masasanay kayong magsalita ng tuwid at makabuluhan. kahit hindi straight english or straight tagalog. kahit mix. acceptable naman yun.

i agree sir tutik, nakakarelate ako, bwahahaha, lol, kidding aside dont forget sir to bring index cards for your impt points of presentation, just a guide incase na biglang ma mental block. theres a saying "na mental ako dun ah" hehehe

When you are on board, try to look on ONE POINT, than having a lot of focus......that will distract you.

kaya nyo yan sir!pede ung tumingin ka sa one point gaya ng sinabi ni sir daps pede din tumingin sa audience para maestablish nyo ung contact sa kanila...baka kasi lumabas nyan eh para kang tumutula...remember presentation un...kaya nyo yan sir!isipin nyo na lang ung hirap sa paggawa ng presentation nyo na dapat madeliver nyo ng maayos...dati ganyan din ako...sanayan lang yan sir...first tym ba ito sir?God Bless!

Jenaro - I've done this before but not to the whole office, I still get those butterflies in my stomach everytime!
