Thank you very much for your unfailing support of the UAP-Singapore first assembly! Your attendance last night was very valuable as it will be marked in the history and will be known for generations.

We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to our National President Archt. Roldan and our sponsor TOTO for their help and further support in forming the first assembly.

For those that have been busy with their jobs and were not able to attend, there will be another meeting this week. We will update you on the venue and timing. As an update, there are already 40 architects who extend their support and have filled up the application.

Hi joo7788, Thank you for your query. UAP Singapore Chapter together with the Philippine Embassy In Singapore are still in progress for the introduction of Architects Board Exam here in Singapore. Hopefully it will be approved so please keep posted. On your question on membership, YES! you can be a member of UAP Singapore thru UAPS Graduate Auxiliary. We are proud to announce that UAP Singapore Chapter won the UAP Best Foreign Based Chapter for FY 2011-2012.
Awarded during the recently concluded 38th UAP National Convention at SMX Convention Centre, Manila, Philippines last April 19-21, 2012.
UAP Singapore were represented by the Officers & Members for the 3 day Convention Event.

After 3 years from its beginning, UAP Singapore outgrows the expectation of a Chapter whose goals is to unite Filipino Architects in Singapore.
Through its continuous programs & events, led by its Officers & attended by the supportive members, its vision & mission goes to reality.

We would like to thank especially the members whose support are endless & proves that having an organization such as UAP is necessary & important even abroad.
As well as for the sponsors who in any way there helping UAPS to achieve its goals.

And to the Officers of UAP Singapore whose passion and motivation comes from the heart and for the profession.

The 1st UAP Singapore Arkitours was a blast!

The 1st ever UAPS Arkitours in Malacca last May 12, 2012 was attended by about 90 UAPS members together with their family and friends.
It started with a visit to the Bee Museum which housed thousands of honey that was collected around the world.
We had lunch in the heart of Malacca which showcases Peranakan cuisines.
After the sumptous lunch, we went to the Malacca River Cruise and walk to explore the tourist locations and historical places of the Town.
We've seen the Old temples, mosque & shophouses along Jonker Street.
We've seen the magnificent old churchus build by the Portuguese like Christ Church & St Pauls Church.
We ended the tour with a shop & dine spree from Malaccas newest malls.
After all the days tour, we just slept on the bus and keep all the memories of Malacca with us.
Truly the culture, architecture & heritage of Malacca is still there reminding the its people on how to save it for the next generetions.
A learning journey each and everyone of us must experience and ask ourselves what can we do to make it the same as in the Philippines.

Below are UAP Singapore Chapter’s current development programs that every member will be entitled:

1. Field Trips & Product Showroom Visits – to expose the Corporate & Auxiliary members to products, events and places that are relevant to their professional development.
2. Leadership & Work Ethics Seminars – these seminars aim to develop the members’ skills not only the technical aspect, but most importantly, professional values. The Chapter shall conduct a series of lectures that will focus more on leadership and work attitude.
3. Annual Dinner & Gatherings – accommodation of events such as official visits from the National Officers, Christmas Party, Barbecue Party& General Assembly.
4. Sports Development – implementation of an Annual Sportsfest among the members, promoting physical fitness and camaraderie.
5. Creativity Club – creation of clubs that enhances members’creativity and abilities through creative clubs such as photography, painting sketching, etc.
6. Design Competitions – initiating members to represent the Chapter to participate in local and international competitions & gain recognition.
7. Newsletter & Publications – the Chapter is working on creating publication materials such as annual reports; newsletters & directory that promote recognition to the members of the Chapter.
8. UAPS PRC Renewal Assistance Program (PRAP) - assistance for UAPs members who are renewing their PRC license.
