Re: opening post
Actually I only think of some mapping and basic lighting issues, but I am quite at a loss with regards two other pressing points:
1. If all you desire is to make it easier for the audience to visualize your design - then I think this type of rendering is fine A-OK. Bacause I can already imagine what kind of a house this would be, once built. Sometimes, I get confused by some of the posts here - I wonder if they are highlighting the architectural design aspects or the rendering quality, or both. So Wat is the standard?
Since I am no architect although I grew up around three of them, and this is not particularly directed to kieko, how I wished we could focus and see more of the "design" rather than just the rendering, Well if you want to be a renderer - that's fine. That's because rendering is something you can always learn right after school. While it takes a few discipline to be able to pump out good images or realistic ones for that matter - anyone CAN learn doing it. There is NO BIG DEAL about rendering photoreal images - the big deal is being able to render PHOTOREAL an idea that is more or less non-existent. Not yet.
2. With regards to Perspective Correction, I wish people do not get the impression that a mere camera skew or cam correction is a BIG requirement for good rendering. They were simply an invention of people in the past trying to get over the limitation of lenses and photography. And now, mimicked even in computer graphics visualization. Look around you with your bare eyes - your eyes might be the best tilt-shift lenses out there but you'll still see the verticals going straight towards the viepoint. Perspective Correction is just like sex (ahe!) vetsin pala, its something you could do with or without. (talaga?)
Personally, I hate it. It makes my images and animations look too artificial. Try it with a 360 degree rotating cam at 'pag di ka naman nahilo:D
Speaking of design - that balcony would not be child-friendly. Your building developer would certainly lose money for claims against safety issues.
One last thing, Visualization in Computer Graphics is not just about right colors or lights or mapping- its also about designing objects and making them visually appealing and easy to understand. If you cannot visualize yourself around the objects and how people might positively interact with them - all your efforts in making them look photoreal later will be in vain. Because it will be wrong in the first place.

Re: opening post
sir kieko add ko lang, in terms of design, i guess try nating baligrin yung space allocation mo, meaning, make the entry at the middle so that yung mga bedrooms are on its side, mas comfortable sya interms of lighting and its vernacular design. add also some lighting fixtures to make it more interesting. on your rendering, i guess use different sets of entourage and its mapping so that it will be more realistic. keep on posting sir.
