photographer income

It's just a question that I wanted to ask. It's really questionable to me in how much income can a photographer get, and how can you earn money through photography?

oo bro, in many ways.

1. set-up a studio
2. shoot weddings and events
3. shoot for the net (Stock Photography)
4. join in sa contest.
5. shoot for the sake of art (Portraiture, Landscape, Etc.)
6. shoot for the news
7. paparazzi (no kidding, malaki ang pera dito. Pansinin mo nalang kung gano si ngpapakamay diti.)
8. at marami pang iba.

you can earn 5,000 pesos to as much as a million per month or more. It will all depend sa gadget mo at skill level. And of course, kailangan may passion ka, hindi halfhearted. Kasi iba talaga ang pasok pag nandun ang puso mo. Good luck bro!

maraming photogs na may matataas na presyo kasi matagal na sila sa industry at alam na nila yung ginagawa nila kahit nakapikit pa sila yung iba naman mababa rates nila dahil...

1. starting pa lang sila
2. wala sila resibo

wedding coverage ( photos + video ) = around 30 to 40 k

These prices are charged by professionals. Just like any profession it takes years of experience and skill before one can command these prices. Having the gadgetry is surely not enough.

dont be fooled by the glam look of a photographer.its not easy,especially here in philippines there are tones of aspiring photog-thats why the fees are dirty cheap.being passionate is not enough to get you enough money to earn,you have to think of it as a business.and in order to be ahead of them is to have an extra edge among them.

join forums such as this...there are forums, conventions and the like that discusses photography as a hobby as wel as a bussiness,....hobby to bussiness,...get enough experience,..after having,,,,then ask yourself again...how much should i earn...
