Hi Elise, Welcome to CGP! now regarding your rendering I would suggest you also 
include some information about the 3d software and rendering engine you 
use to generate this image so everyone can give you appropriate advice, going back to the image I think you
should change the flooring it looks like a worn out linoleum but you are in a good start with your modeling, 
now for the lighting the clay render below shows that you are using both natural and
interior lighting that i would recommend and try to study studio lighting technique its good for interior.

- needs improvement on materials and finishes (place diffuse maps, reflections, etc.)

- check scale and proportion of furniture

- study layout of furniture

hi elise! welcome to CGP! ok lang sana ang dating parang toon scene lang siya. you could have chosen a better flooring to match it to your motif...   surely marami kang matototonan dito...
