mga sir/maam, patulong naman po aq...Arki student po aq, and ive been working on my thesis title this summer break, gusto q po humingi ng feedback at advice for thes topics na naisip q. salamat po ng marami


1. BAngKAWAyanaN Silonay Ecotourism and Livelihood Center Complex- A Participatory and Ecozoic Approach and Integration of     Aquasilviculture and a Replicable Fisherman's Village



Barangay Silonay, a community in Calapan City, surrounded by Silonay Mangrove Forest Conservation Area and Ecotourism (SMCAET) an integral part of the Marine Protected Area on the Verde Island Passage Corridor, the center of Marine Biodiversity in the World, is the main focus of this topic. Herein, the idea is to create an ecotourism destination in Calapan that will adopt to the natural environment, provide livelihood of the community people and  spoonfeed the local and visitors alike information about the Forest, as well as the natural environment that will help to increase the awareness in the importance of protecting that form of life (establishing a visitor center at development of the facilities in the SMCAET also the adaptation of the old/abandoned footbridge (the only means of entry to the community before the concrete road and bridge is completed)  sprawling also hte Bakawan Area as well as the abandoned fisponds). Also the Livelihood center have came up after the idea of the Replicable Fisherman's Village, which aims to improve not to change the way of life of the people living in the said community, by adopting the "Casa System" (the fishes caught by the fisherman who dont have stalls on the market, are sold, at a standard price, to a sole person/group of person then they'll be the one one who will sold it to the local market) and adopting its facilities on the ways of living of the community people in an everyday basis. iincorporate q po dito yung bamboo architecture, meron n pong 400 meter na bamboo boardwalk n present dun sa lugar, sprawling around the Mangrove Forest. things pa to consider eh yung Cooperative ng Silonay na namamahala ng SMCAET, then ung itatayong Watchtower for the Bantay-gubat for the security of the whole SMCAET and Silonay as well.



2. Proposed Oriental Mindoro National High School redevelopment as a Replicable Campus/ prototype adapting the K-12 Basic Education System 



dito po, parang reconstruction ng mga schools that will adapt the K-12 academic program, a K-12 Adaptive School. Since magsstart na yung K-12 education system s bansa in the next years, instead na magtayo ng each Senior High School per Division/district, eh bkit hindi n lng po natin iadopt ung mga existing high schools natin sa K-12. masconvenient po yun i think, pabor n rin sa mga estudyante mas magiging accessible yung School s knila during their senior highschool years. 



3. Santuario- Proposed Crematorium/Columbarium and Pilgrimage Center Complex



First reason, wala pa po nito sa Calapan even sa Mindoro, and there are a lot of people in Mindoro, like the Chinese People, wherein cremation is part of their culture. Ung iba po they're travelling to Batangas or Manila para lng s Cremation. tapos po overcrowded na ung mga himlayan ng patay dito s Calapan, especially the public cemetery, and this facility will just consume a smaller space for each remains as compared to traditional burrying of the dead, so feasible. this will be incorporated in a existing memorial park (n world-class) that is adjacent to the site. then ung site, is relatively big just for a crematorium and columbarium, so i will put a pilgrimage center (this two development is suggested by the lot owner). isa pa, ung site eh mganda ang location, situated on a higher elevation near the Calapan Port, facing the seas on both of its sides. maganda po syang lagyan ng landmark kasi you can see it at a distance especially when traveling from Batangas, also when you are travelling to Visayas (na dun dumadaan via Strong Republic Nautical Highways / RoRo).



4. MIMAROPA Regional Center for Health Development- Adaptive Reuse of Old Oriental Mindoro Provincial Hospital 


Old Oriental Mindoro Provincial Hospital (Built during the American Era) was abandoned since it was transferred to the the new building of Oriental Mindoro Medical Center today. the only building today that is still functional are two buildings, occupied by the Provincial Health Office and the other as a residence. and the others are left abandoned and unused for the past years. Nanghihinayang po aq, so i came up with the idea of restoring and reusing it, but with the function n halos kpareho ng nature ng dati nitong use. Kung health facilities, hindi naman po masyadong kulang ang Calapan City, hospitals, healthcare centers, home for the aged, etc. kasi provided na sya ng government, and if i will adopt one of this functions mentioned, redundant naman po. kaya i came up with the idea na magkaroon ng centralised offices and facilities, ang Calapan City Health and Sanitation Department (located at the old City Hall), Provincial Health Office, at of course the regional DOH office/ center for health development (DOH-CHD) and its satellite offices, na currently nasa Manila, taking account na it is in MIMAROPA Region the people that it is serving, tapos tatlo n lng CHD ang located sa Manila, first ung NCR CHD, serving Metro Manila itself, CALABARZON, n malapit tlga sa NCR, and last ang MIMAROPA, and the others are located to their respected regions they are serving. then i will also incorporate a research institute on herbal medicine, (which i will use biophillic design, salad walls, etc) hehe, kasi po based sa datos ng NEDA for the area required for CHD, masyadong malaki ang area ng Provincial Hospital for this.so architectural restoration at biophillic design in 1 development

lahat nga po pla ng proposals n ito is to be situated on Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro

I recommend doing 1 and 4. Very useful and beneficial.

for number 1. we should expand this in our shorelines. it is very effective in keeping the ecosystem alive and also in protecting us from direct contact of wild storm and tidal waves.

for number 4. We need more medical facilities for research and development. maybe you can integrate a hospital as well if the site permits.

wag na yung 2 and 3. madali lang gawin yan. just classrooms and boxes for crematorium.

dun po sa problem no 4, if i will integrate a hospital, what kind of hospital po, specialized in what? ung po kasing site eh may kalapitan sa ilang private hospital, isang children hospital, at sa Oriental Mindoro Medical Center (New Provincial Hospital)...

ok po ba yung idea q na research and propagation center for herbal medicines na aapplyan ng biophilic design? parang series of buildings na rice terraces inspired wherein the green roof system is composed of herbal medicines?
considering po n ung site eh sloped at rugged ang topography...

pwede naman. kahit wala na pala ang hospital. kailangan mo lang pag-aralan ang component nyang herbal med research center para mag purpose at goal ang project. make it very feasible na parang marealize sya in the coming years. saka pag-aralan mo din ang need at demand. madami na kasing ganyan pero "no approve therapeutic claim" pa din hanggang ngayon. wala pa yatang herbal na medicine talaga.

cge po sir... i will continue researching on that matter, 

tpos po ung isa ko pa sanang problem eh magfofocus sa mangyan architecture...sounds like isang ecotourism area/ resort na ung mga amenities mismo eh pinapatakbo ng isang mangyan community... isa po sa ifofocus dun ung gravesite ng mga mangyan wherein ung remains po eh inilalagay nila sa isang isla/rockformations mlapit sa dagat...
