Tea Room: Inspired
Hello peeps...just to break my silence.
I saw this Tea Room posted by zean in Evermotion and dunno why it catched my attention to do that scene. Of course not totally the same mood but instead I made another ambiance that I like. I know the illumination he did is stunning and it is too hard to get the same effect.
Anyway, here's what I have done. Also I include some close-up shots of the scene. Critics and comments are welcome.

The main reasons why I did this are to experiment another setting and to test my machine. I used Mitchell-Netravali for my AF. Color Mapping is Reinhard and Custom Setting for IR Map. The rest is default.
Thanks.

Re: Tea Room: Inspired
clean render sir kurdaps... galing ng pagkalilaw mo sa lamps... though modeling of the table is too edgy... a lil chamfer would help.

Nice renderings! How long did it take for you to render these on i7? Request naman ng comparison with a non i7 setup dyan if it's not too much to ask.

Very nice Kurdaps, I like the dynamic range of your lighting, and materials are on point. Can you elaborate on that Reinhard color mapping? I'm not familiar with it. Thanks!

Those were pre-modeled objects Bro from Evermotion. Regarding that lights, I put Free Point on each them. I will show the setting tomorrow.
Thanks.

I rendered this with Custom preset as I have mentioned of 2000 Subd. with 2500xxx image size. It took around 2 hrs....not bad. Most of the Materials has 25 to 50 subds. on the map to have a refine reflection. I can't compare with other machine here sa office, ako lang ang may Software ng Max eh... . I am willing to share the Max File for you to render.

Trial and error lang Sir until I get the output what I wanted to. The difference that I discovered from Reinhard were the sharpness and contrast; and less color bleeding also. Even I set the bounces to each default---1,1. . That also depends on the scene and materials that I applied and here I prefer the Reinhard.
Thanks...
