Futuristic Art Deco Manila

My concept and Work In Progress for the competition is that of a futuristic alternative Manila in Art Deco style. The scene depicts the Art Deco architecture of the still existing Metropolitan Theatre, a landmark in Lawton, Manila.

Very tall buildings surround it, and hovering magnetic vehicles fly above the streets.

I've been illustration the Met in watercolor before.

My main reference was my work in 2009ish in 36" by 48" in traditional watercolor. I'll be digital painting it at the angle of my first two initials with background of Art Deco Style futuristic buildings, flying cars and androids around.

Done with the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 using the Autodesk Sketchbook Pro app, utilizing the built in Wacom digitizer (S Pen) done in a pencil styled digital drawing of 1920s/30s delineation.

I submitted my drawing entry at 23:39. I thought this had an on our before 12:00 midnight, February 28 deadline. 5 entries were late than I was.

I was talking about Philippine time, of course.

We usually give allowances til 12pm the next day. US time tayo to accomodate the time difference. announced or unannounced. So may time pa magsubmit ng update. Noticed I haven't closed the threads yet?
