AutoCAD copy - paste problem.

My problem is when i copy a floor plan, components or even just a line from other cad file tapos pag e input ko xa sa cad file ko maxiado matagal ung pag copy nya it takes 2-3 hours para mag copy.
Pero pag ung cad file ng iba e copy ko mabilis lng it takes 2-3 sec. lng para mag copy. Yung existing files ko maxiado matagal.
Dati kc hnd ganun ka tagal ung pag copy madali lng. Idk if sa pag "BLOCK" ata. pero hnd nmn maxiado madami ung pag block ko.

pwede ko po kayo bigyan ng sample cad file ko. Para ma try nyo .
Maraming salamat po.

Purge then audit mo yun files na kina-copy mo baka marami unnecessary objects...

sir medyo hindi po klaro yung diskripsyon mo ng autocad lag..san po ba gawa lahat ng files, dyan rin po ba sa pc mo..kung nakokopya mo po ng maayos yung ibang drawing files galing sa ibang pc may problem po yung isang files na gawa sa pc mo..try mo xref command sa existing drawing mo then try to explode..kung wala pa din po try mo save as tapos overwrite mo yung dating files sample draw to draw1..nangyari na din sakin dati yan..

Cguru nga po sir. Pero i did try PU nothing happens.
Ok nmn xa sa mga lumang kong mga files mag copy mabilis. 2-3 sec lng copy agad.

opo galing nga po dito sa pc ko. Ok try ko po xref.
Mejo nakalimutan ko na pag gamit ng xref d ko kc maxiado gnagamit.

sa WBLOCK (write block) command sir, pwede mo ito gamitin to create a new drawing file as per selected objects while leaving behind all other unnecessary objects it might be hidden & unwanted... try mo lang sir if it doesn't help you then you can proceed to other solution.. it might be xref or hatch...

type "w" sa keyboard sir, tpos drag mo yung gusto mong i save.. mag save po sya sir as new file, nilipat mo lang yung laman.. kc baka sa file mo eh meron ung mga nka hide n layers or yung mga di nakikitang drawings ..as i can see mabigat napo ung file mo sir

Done WBLOCK wala po ng yari. Matagal parin ung pag copy paste ko sa file ko

my virus ata Autocad mo sir, or unit mo..sa nakikita ko po solution e reinstall mo nalang yung cadd mo or gamit ka higher version ng cadd, sakin kc cadd2011 ayos naman po yung file mo sir, bilis lng magcopy.hope it will solve your prob.

Virus? idk po. Pero hnd nmn cguro kc kahit sa ibang pc ako gagaamit 2008 autocad ganun din eh matagal maka paste.
Cguru nga higher version ng cad baka ma solve ung kaso wala ako available na higher version maxiado kc mahal. ahahah

original file is around 5.6mb, after WBlock -> Overkill -> Reset ScaleList ->PurgeAll -> Save.... it resulted out at only 251kb .....

2008 ba kamo ang gamit mo sir? try -scalelistedit . just reset scalelist. problema talaga ng 2008 yan dahil sa annotation scales. sa latest versions inayos na nila yang problema na yan kaya kapag nabuksan, di na sya tatagal. just make annoautoscale value set to -4. or you can find that icon at the bottom right part of autocad window na may parang kidlat na symbol, katabi ng icon na may bulb symbol. hth
