PROJECT TITLE: Proposed Redevelopment of Tanza National High School to a K-12 Adaptive Campus

TOPIC: Construction and reconstruction of buildings that is supplemental to the new K-12 academic

program focusing on site planning and green building construction.

                Education in the Philippines is something that is given a great importance by the Filipinos. As the new K-12 academic program is now on effect, it can be foreseen that the existing problems regarding educational matters will be aggravated. These common problems include the insufficiency of classrooms shown by the 80:1 students to classroom ratio, the lack of physical infrastructures for the different programs that is to be serviced for the new academic program and the consistent botheration during the typhoon season. Since the first batch of the new K-12 program is approaching in 2017, it is important to devise a plan that will cater the immediate need to support the abovementioned problems. A redevelopment plan for a National High School is better than constructing a centralized senior high school simply because it is much cheaper in production, faster in construction, and most of all, it may provide solutions to the existing problems, as stated, of National high Schools. The simpler the solution, the more it is to give ease to the members of the academic society.

PROJECT TITLE: Proposed Soul Tower: A Vertical Memorial Sanctuary

TOPIC: Introduction of crematorium and columbarium as a solution to the escalating mortality rate

with land insufficiency for burial services focusing on green building design.

                As the mortality rate increases, the need for proper burial services is one to consider. Cemeteries nowadays are being cramped up as there is more to bury than where it is to be buried. These spaces are usually the breathing space of a city or a municipality, but also one of the highest percentages of the land area. Existing problems are the loss of cadavers since the burial units have its occupancy period, the poor maintenance caused by limited manpower with respect to the massive land area, and most importantly the high cost of burial rites. The proposed project is a solution to the abovementioned problems as it will cater a permanent deathbed that would not take as much land area and will give every individual, rich or poor, the decency to a proper burial.

PROJECT TITLE: Proposed Astrocamp: The Philippine Astronomical Exploratorium and Observatory Camp

TOPIC: Reinventing the form of a knowledge-based recreation to an astronomical camp focusing on

Site planning and utility systems.

                Science and Technology are something that is inherent to every individual as it is the root to the existence of life. Science and technology are taught in the school but is easier to learn with the aid of personal experience. Physical sciences are easily experienced but astronomical sciences are limited to some as there are inadequate facilities in the country to exhibit such services. The proposed project will provide the masses with close encounters with the cosmic life in a form of camping activities. The proposed project will fuse recreation with education and will be beneficial to students, enthusiasts, and generally, the young and old masses.
