Mini Challenge #2 - Cafe Bar Counter

First topic message reminder :

Let's do a mini challenge again! Quick challenge for two weeks.

-Deadline is on May 15, 2013. (Let's make this a habit to harness our skills. Held every middle and end of every month.)
-We will have 3 winners, no ranking but just the 3 best images.
-Confirmed prizes shall be CGP shirt and an 8gb usb flash drive.
-A member can only win this challenge thrice and shall be awarded the mini challenge masters award.

MINI CHALLENGE #2 CAFE BAR COUNTER
-any 3d software can be used. (SU, 3ds max, blender, etc)
-output shall be a cafe bar counter visualization.
-it could be an original design or a copy.
-output shall be a minimum of 1 full view and 1 spot/close up view or a DOF.
-size of the area shall vary from 10-20 sqm. Any configuration
-the purpose of the challenge is to enhance the use of light, images, materials, poster and composting small elements in a visualization.
-screenshot of the work in progress and wires is a must. (to prove that your not using an existing image or photo)
-all entries shall be posted in this thread only. no need to create your own thread.

I think that's it, we will enhance the criteria as we go along. I hope that everyone will join the challenge. Good luck!

Hoping this would turn out nice, i have issues with 3ds max and vray lately, camera changes would not affect image output, baka madilim ito sa screens ninyo.

Ayun na malapit na. Nice update again guys! I like this kind of WIP's. Kitang kita talaga ang progress. Saka more or less kita din ang techniques ng paggawa. In a way, it's gonna be a big help for everybody, lalo na dun sa mga discovering stage ng 3d. Good luck guys!

Pendant Lamp concept



Most items are modelled from scratch so this also serve as a modeling exercise on my part.

Posting my final WIP image, still a few things to work on, then i might be able to post a final render.

Here are my Final renders for this challenge. I learned a lot from this exercise, special thanks goes out to enigma for the advices, and also for sharing the randomise and floor generator scripts which i used during the process of creating this piece, which is basically just some random wild idea in my head that i needed to put out. Thanks! this challenge gave me the chance to share it wth you guys.
