Techie Guys, please do rate my 1 week old office PC.. :)

Hi to all techie members!! Please see the specs of my 1 week old office PC and please do have some comments with regards to the build. I am experiencing a little bit of slug during opening of multiple files. I am using this for skechup modelling & rendering and some Photoshop editing only..

i have a macbook pro that's a bit old now... needless to say it's takes a while for rendering :O

naka xeon na naka Quadro pa ..mgkanu po ung ngastos nyu po dyan?

Try to update your video card software muna. Gaano pala kalaki ang files mo? Baka naman complex.

I think yun lang ang problem dyan. If not update your softwares.

No idea po Sir sa price, pagkakaalam ko mas mahal pa po yung 2013 cad software ko mga nsa 16k dhs.

Sir, Tanong ko lang kung pwede pang i upgrade ang RAM niyan?

HP Z420 Almost the same as what I'm using here at the Office,
Mas mataas lang ung processor sakin 3.6 ghz. but lower Video card. Quadro2000 and 16gig ram din sakin.
In my experience OK naman sya... naka Hyper Threading naman ang Z420.
Try to increase the virtual memonry ser....

Sir, kahit po d nmn complex size yung mga ginagawa ko, mga nsa 50-70 mb max lng nmn yung sketchup file na ginagwa ko. Gusto klang sana mka pag multiple application ako, nag rerender habang gumagawa nng presentation sa photoshop or cad.

Opo Sir, kaso sa ngayun po hindi pa pwed kasi kakabigay lng, hehehe.. cguro kailangan nyapang e road test or break in..

Simpleng 50-70 mb lng na sketchup file, na notice klng pag nag render ako, mas mahaba yung delay time lumabas yung vray frame buffer compare sa isa dati kong pc na intel i7 2600 cpu @ 3.40 ghz ( 8 cpus ) at nka GT force 520 na video at 12mb RAM..
cge po try kng update yung software.

I have requested for a rendering PC and this specs was given by my company.. dna man ako renderer yung gus2 klng sana mangyari ay mka pag bukas ako nng multiple applications habang nag rerender, yung mabilisan output lng po. kasi yung dati kong pc, pag na render ako, dna ako mkakatrabaho sa CAD o kaya photoshop..

avoid opening programs at the same time, that's the solution.
PS itself uses 60% of your RAM...

As for me, I'm using 2 of this Workstations. so nakkgawa pa ako sa kabila while rendering on the other.

Nice, 6 cores with 8 threads CPU...

Sir, I saw your WEI score in your posted image above. You only got 5.9 para sa isang dream PC at halimaw na SPECS. Yung WEI score ko po ay 7.0, mataas siya pero Im only using typical HP Z210 workstation. mas mababang specs kumpara sa CPU niyo po.

I have some questions:
1. Sa harddisk po ba lumabas yung score na 5.9?
2. Harddisk po ba gamit niyo or Solid State Drive (SDD)?
I believe HDD kaya mababa WEI score na nakuha niyo po at kaya hindi po kayo makapag multi-tasking while rendering.
3. Sir pwede po bang makita yung CPU usage at Memory Usage?
- Press CTRL + SHIFT + ESC at the same time
- Go to Performance Tab
- Screenshot niyo po then post niyo dito...

While rendering in 3Dmax, naka open po lagi Photoshop CS6, few Autocad 2013 files, Google Chrome, Outlook at Yahoo Messenger,at nag to-torrent pa po ako... wala namang problema. smooth ang pag run lahat ng programs at the same time...

sir, mag DR lang po kayo pag maramihan na talaga ang mga nirerender niyo within one (1) day.
sa ngayon, halimaw na po CPU niyo, konting tweaks at updates lang yan sa hiccups na na-eencounter niyo..

Ok naman pala. Naka activate hyper threading mo.

Itong HP Z210 ko kasi, nung dumating ito sa office naka disable hyperthreading, so four (4) buckets lang lumalabas pag rendering. ako pa nag activate sa BIOS. ngayon ok na po. eight (8) buckets na pag nag rerender.

Yung harddisk mo po sir ang bottleneck jan sa halimaw PC mo. super bilis na lahat ng specs mo sir pero naka harddisk kapa rin. Siya po yung umiipit sa bilis ng specs niyo. Mabagal pa rin niyang ni-lo-load ang mga files kahit anong bilis ng specs ng PC niyo sir.


5.9 lang po score mo sa Hardisk. yan usual score na nakukuha. Pero pag naka Solid State Drive (SSD) kana, usually 7.3 pataas makukuha mo po sir.

Upgrade po kayo ng harddisk to solid state drive. Highly recommended ko po yan. Mura na SSD nowadays. Super multitasking kana pag naka SSD.
