Mga Sir,
paano po ba maging portable yung mga material settings ko sa Vray for SketchUp???
exe: nag setup ako lahat ng Material seetings ko sa bahay tapus sa office ko e render, pwde po ba yon mga Sir???
every time kasi, na wala na ang mga ginawa kung settings like Reflection, BUmp, etc... No No

e save as mo xa as archive sir pra ma preserve lahat ng materials at settings mo... pra kahit lumipat ka ng pc kung saan mo xa e render same parin....... 2thumbsup

I think wala sa vray temp memory mo yung mga mat settings, it should be there though, kasi ako I havent experienced that before. Yun lang sigurong mga nawawalang texture pero reflection and refraction hindi. Saka kung kabisado mo naman mga settings mo madali lang ibalik mga yun.

pero Sir in my case na 50-80 materials an abotin ko sa isang project, mahirap kung tandaan. sa CAR palang abot na ako 10 materials.

wala po bang settings sa ngayon ang VRAY na e-pack nya lahat ng settings ko in to 1 pack tapus lagay nalang sa specific folder???

ayun naman pala eh? siguro sobrang dami na ng materials kaya hindi na kaya ng temp memory. try mo i purge then i delete mga not needed mat sa scene, ako pag nagopen ng downloaded car usually 4-5 materials lang ang tinitira ko, namely: glass, paint, black plastic, stainless, etc. then save as ko ng new model. tapos pag minerge ko sa scene babawasan ko pa material nya dipende sa makikita sa cam. same with other models ganyan ako katipid sa materials dati sa SU.

gather all your materials in one folder inclding the HDRI that you use in the scene so that you can easily tranfer all the data.

actually when you save your file in sketch-up, the textures you use goes with that model when save and open it on other computer.

but if you still insist on saving them in on folder here is the work around
-Go to Windows Menu, select material
-On material Browser, select In Model on the list.
-Click the opposite icon and select Save Collection us. it will gather all the materials on your scene in one place.

sir how about the material settings in V-ray (Reflection, refraction, Displacement, etc..) it is also included sir? 'cuz i am really concern with my vray settings.
