how to make elvation without rotating
goodmorning to all , mga sir hingi lang ako ng konting tip about sa paggawa ng elevation sa autocad..
nakakita kasi ako na hindi nirorotate ung plan at hindi kinacopy lagi ung plan para gumawa ng elevation..
ako kasi gumagawa ng copy ng copy ng floor plan tapos rotate..
salamat po sa lahat..

Ang gawin mo Sir instead na copyahin mo at rotate mo ang plan mo, mas maiigi kung alam mong mag gamit or magplay with the UCS (x,y,z coordinates) & save mo bawat view para mas madali kang makapagmanipulate ng pag gawa ng mga Elevation mo. Yan eh magagawa mo kung sanay ka sa paggawa at paggamit ng 3D sa AutoCAD.
Or else set mo yung UCSFOLLOW or type " UCSFOLLOW " enter set to 1 instead o f zero value and then type "UCS" enter type "Z" enter then specify the rotation angle about Z axis to 90 enter (for Elevation at Right Side) after finish the Right Elev. again type "UCS" enter type Z enter then specify another rotation angle value to 90 enter (for Elevation at Back Side) and the rest make the same until you finish to the last Elevation....Enjoy & Have a Lucky day....

no other choice but to rotate each drawn elevation. and or rotate the viewport instead. create a viewport for each elevation and rotate it matching to your floor plan

use ucs & view commands gaya ng sabi ni sir dong. pero kung 2013 naman ang gamit mo, click mo lng yung ucs icon mo tapos lalabas na yung mga grips nya. im not sure kung ganito na rin 2011 pero sa 2012 pwede na.
very tricky nga lang itong method ng paggawa ng elevation na ganito dahil magrorotate ka rin ng mga labelings/annotations mo. pagdating sa alignment ng elevations mo, instead na horizontal lines ang ref. lines or projections ng levels mo, magiging square dahil sa arrangement ng drawings mo. surely from time to time you will shift also from your saved views. complicated sya.
pero try mo lang kung curious ka. mas maigi pa rin yung simple lang. convert mo na lang sa block yung plan mo or use xref
