hi guys, I just wanted to share this personal work of mine for portfolio purposes, i'm also studying a tip I received from a photographer/friend on simulating a mood for photographing interiors in a studio setup. thanks CGP and more power to this community!

Sure i'll post it here once I get back to the office

since i'm not really good at making tutorials, I decided to share the scene file, I just removed some accessories that I cannot share but the lighting and most of the materials I used is in the file, my lighting is very simple yet effective once you see my setup, this is just one of many lighting setups I use depending on the scene, I use HDRI and vray sun in my other renders. here's the link:

I believe my render setting is there too, about the white, I use 2 separate ambient occlusion to define the detail and area which is why the white looks separated from the other materials plus I use exponential color mapping to not burn the details of the scene, please check the render elements tab in vray setup, you'll see two vrayextratex, it's instanced to the 2nd and 3rd material in the material editor, that's my ambient occlusion setting.
