This will not heat up your Processors.This is not Classified as Overclocking.

Make your computer faster by disabling core parking In Windows 7 only!

What is Core Parking?
Core Parking is basically an option in the Windows registry which only allows the computer to use 1 core when having a Multi- or more than one core CPU. This limits the potential of the CPU’s actual power to save energy. Say, if you’re opening a game it will only use 1 core to open it instead of spreading it to other cores or in other words distributing the data.

Why disable it ?
It unlocks your cores so you can use them all instead of Stressing on one CPU.

Is it worth changing?
Yes! It increases performance up to 75% Depending on how much CPU Cores your CPU has that’s how much it will increase by.
NOTE:This works ni two or more core cpu ONLY you cannot use this in a single core cpu.

To know your number of cores follow the steps below:
1.My Computer
2.Right click My Computer
3. Device Manager
4.Click the arrow panel on the processor

This is it, follow it thoroughly:
1. Open registry editor

2.Disable Core Parking on your PC Attachment

3.In Registry Edit, Go to Edit in the top mini toolbar and click Find.
4.Then in the Text box put this (Without the Brackets.) (0cc5b647-c1df-4637-891a-dec35c318583)

Disable Core Parking on your PC Attachment

5.Click Find Next.
Disable Core Parking on your PC Attachment

6.Once it find the Reg Key there should be 8 detailed boxes or text.

7.Look for The name column or row. And find ValueMin and ValueMax which should be bunched Up.

8.Right click on ValueMin and click Modify.

Disable Core Parking on your PC Attachment

9.In the Text box type 0 instead of a 1 in the text.

10.And do the same for The ValueMax.

11.To make sure that it is done in all the Profiles click Edit in the top toolbar again and click Find Next or push F3 on your keyboard.

12.Then do the same again to the others (ValueMin=0, ValueMax=0)

13.Before you restart,set your power plan to high performance level...here how to do it:
* Go to control panel
* Power option
* High Performance
* Done
Restart your computer and See the Difference

Note:Before I did this MS-office 2010 Ran in about 9 to 10 secs and now its about 1-2 secs .
Drastic Improvement!
This does not kill your computer in anyway. It just enables your MB to use all the Cores in your CPU!

medyo hesitant ako subukan pa sa bago naming system. saka tingin ko di na kailangan dahil during render makikita sa task manager/performance na lahat ng cores nasa 100% usage. hope you could shed light on this. thanks for sharing btw! Smile

yes maganda ito, ginawa ko na ito, sa multi task ang benefit ng core parking if disabled pero sa 3d max i think hindi. gagana ito at mas stable ito if you are using more than 1 applications, kase gagamit ito ng more cores if you open more application, ang core parking bagong feature ito ng windows 7 to conserve energy sa desktop and conserve battery sa laptop. ang core parking feature ng windows 7 is hindi ito gagamit ng isa pang core hanggat hindi pa fully loaded ang isang core, kumbaga sa baso hanggat hindi pa puno ng tubig hindi pa isasaling sa iba, unlike pag nka disable ang core parking pwede gumamit agad ang windows 7 ng isa pang core kahit hindi pa loaded si core 1 and core 2, may load agad si core 3 at core 4, maganda ito sa multitask dahil hindi bugbog ang isang core mo. pero sa 3d max bali wala ito kase ang 3d max is a core hungry application, kung ilan ang core mo kahit 8 cores pa yan gagamitin nya lahat at 100%.
