Imported model in sketchup does not render texture on 3ds max.

for some reason when i import a model in Sketch Up (Version 8), and then apply materials in 3ds max, the bitmaps do not render. Rather than rendering the actual bitmaps, the renders just come out in plain colours with no texture to them. i've tried to creat a box on 3ds max and applied the same texture, and for some reason it worked. i can view the texure on my viewport and renders fine as well. please help me with this situation

1. Export file mo to.3ds

2. In Max convert to Vray scene and editable Poly.

Could it be because of the path configuration?

Not familiar with SK.

Sir... import model Sketch Up in 3Dmax then use Pick material to new slot...and Copy diffuse,paste the new v-ray material.

apply uvw map modifier to your model

make sure the path of the texture na ginagamit ng sketchup ay nakalink sa max. there might be missing. 2nd did you export with textures.

also please clarify what version of max are you using? are you importing directly a skp file or 3ds or what?
