Condo: 1st Structure Modeled in Max
First topic message reminder :
My 1st Structure Modeled entirely in 3D Max. A "Condo" (I used to do my modeling in Cad and Chief Arch)
What really inspired me to take Max modeling is the 1 hour video Tutorial at CG Arena about Poly Modeling wala pang audio , and i was so fired up that i finished everything in 1 day, half of the time i consumed going back to the tutorial and play and replay it and familiarizing the commands and doing some trial and error .
I just pick a design from a magazine coz i'm too eager to try what i've learned... (a bit of short story here...)
As usual, your precious Comments, Criticism, Suggestions are welcome...

Re: Condo: 1st Structure Modeled in Max
Try mo yung tutorial bro, the author really made it easy... though di sya ganun ka-kumpleto lalo na kung irregular at complicated shapes na, dati alam ko lang talaga yung standard polygons lang...arjaeboi wrote:i envy you bro! oo nga! sabi nila madali lang talaga ang transition! minsan lang, naiisip kaagad ang cad kaya balik nanaman! hahah!

Re: Condo: 1st Structure Modeled in Max
great job for 1 day! and to think this was just a transition work for you. there are several ways of improving your work but one major point is the reflectivity and overall effect of your glazing material.
unless this is really the color of the glass you may want to enhance the colors and reflections a bit in post process.
our colleague pineapple has an extensive discussion on this in his blog:

hope it helps.
