ah ok cge, simulan na natin. hehe. first of all, mali ang perspective mo sa roof ng rightmost building mo. dapat gamitan mo ng guidelines pag ngmamanual ka. ang isang style na ginagamit dun sa ofc na pinasukan ko dati is, gumagawa sila ng boxes to the size of the building, tapos nila ng desired camera angle. then render na parang linya lang and print, after that, itrace un sa tracing paper and dats it. exacto na ang perspective mo.

pag dating naman sa photoshop, kailangan mo gamit ng curves para gumanda ang contrast mo sa image. gumawa ako ng sample here. then pwede mo na iretouch sa gusto mong mangyari. so far un lang ang comment ko. more on "how to do it right" rather than fixing the image(wala na tayong magagawa dito). para next time, makuha mo kagad ang tamang timpla. good luck! Smile

i can tell you are very eager to learn and i admire you for that bro... i am just confused what do you want to learn first? it is a common mistake for anyone na gusto lahat matutunan without focusing first on one field or area. you mentioned you want to learn photo editing/manipulation then you mentioned also manual rendering.

honestly speaking, the image you posted requires a lot of fixing (not a problem kasi mukha ka namang energetic) and i would like to start sa vanishing point and horizon line bro. fix it first bro. select one object and let the other objects follow its vanishing points. hope makatulong

Bro, if you want this to be like mattepainting quality, then I guess you need to take bokkins advice. To start with I have a few comments kung ok lng bro.

1. Medyo tabingi nga yung perspective lines mu bro. You have mulitple vanishing points and most of them don't seem to end up in the horizon line.

2. Medyo mahina po yung distinction ng shades and shadows po. You have to define kung saan po yung shade and ang shadow para makita mu yung pagka 3d ng object. Defining the shadow will solve this.

So far bro the best thing to do is get some reference images para at least makita mu kung anung effect or perpective you want and base your work there. The best practice is find real images and not renders.

Hope this helpS!

mixed use bldg (latex boysen render ) 4thmixedos4

1. sky is a bit out of place
2. a lot of lines do not converge properly. this is pretty basic in manual rendering and you should concentrate on making sure the base plate is properly sketched first before you do any post editing.
3. supporting elements such as landscaping and entourage are both lacking and missing.
4. adjacent buildings are very haphazardly placed.

in general sir, this render fails in almost all aspects of a composition - perspective, textures, shading, materials. a lot needs to be tweaked in this image. pero ive seen your 3d renderings in the gallery, why not just focus on the 3d outputs rather than go back to this level?

bro no harms meant ha... kung sa una alam mo na na distorted pala ung output why not fixed it? and kahit bro tsampective kayang-kayang pagmukhaing "by the book". i guess it goes beyond the techniques and skills... it is the personality what matters most. kung paano ung mind set sa paggawa and hindi ung pwede na yan attitude. even we give comments and suggestions sa design it will not matter kasi presentation gives life to the design.

and one more thing... sir mushroom is 100% right. why going back to this work of yours during your college years ? i am sure napakarami mo ng development from that time till now kaya it will be more nicer if you will post your recent works and para makatulong naman kami sa abot ng aming makakaya bro.

notes taken sir mushroom..
personal reason po kasi kaya gusto ko mpausayan ang rendering ko in manual .. ito lang kasi ang matino na narender ko sa manual
promise sir and that's true.
ang gusto kopo kasi prang transition yung gagawin ko .. from manual rendering to matte painting sana..
post kana sir hehe peace man
