How did you come up with this list dude mammoo?
Have you tried all of them personally?

Re: battle of laptop reliability
Sir torvicz, I just browse for the best bench marked laptops for designers and visualizers on the net. Then the following brands keep on popping on blog sites and latest laptop craze sites (hardcore over clockers, etc.).
If given a chance, Personally, I want to try all of them. Some friends have laptops that are mentioned above.

Re: battle of laptop reliability
Alienware is an oldtimer so alam nya pasikot sikot sa ganitong level.
It's hard to tell lalo na kung articles lang lang bases ko. Mac palang dyan ang nahahawakan ko.

Re: battle of laptop reliability
Re: battle of laptop reliability
Yung alienware naman is made for gaming talaga.
It's very apparent sa video card.
Ang mac ewan ko lang pero I think it's meant for graphic artists.
Ang Dell at Lennovo ang alam kong may mobile workstation made especially for us max users. It uses quadro VC.
So I suggest you look into this two brands.

Re: battle of laptop reliability
great suggestions sir torvicz i appreciate it. yung isang kumpare ko bumili nang asus rog g75vw, as per his comments, smooth na smooth daw at yakang yaka ang mga mabibigat na scene sa max. in terms of cooling system, ayos na ayos din. i think this is due to its hardware design (system and aesthetic functions combined). sa gaming walang hiccups (battlefield 3 ultra high setting - 12 hours walang switch off).

Re: battle of laptop reliability
wait mo yung new laptops na magkakaroon ng gtx 675m or gtx 680m cuda cores at physx we need this technology sa CGI.

Re: battle of laptop reliability
i'm eyeing on the asus g55vw to replace my old core2duo laptop. it is priced 6000sr (67,000 to 70,000 pesos). but i'm having second thought of getting the bigger asusg75 instead. i'm not sure how much the price difference but if it is only like 500sr, do you think is it better to get the bigger one? i don't mind if it is heavy and bulky since i don't move it too much. the thing is, i like its extra features like you'll be able to clean the internal fans, built-in sub-woofer speaker and 2 hdd. if any of you guys already using these models, please share your thoughts. (the alienware m18x pretty darn good but it priced 11000 to 13000sr. can't afford )
Re: battle of laptop reliability

Sir jheteg, just an advise, if you know how to find an alternative source/shop i suggest buy it on amazon or ebay. you'll get a big discount. im not saying here just a piece of reduction..my officemate bought an m17x for about 6000 dhs only from amazon, brand new and sealed. he paid 118 dollars for shipment. the cost of that here is around 10k above. ang laking tipid pa rin.
p.s without any tax from custom. some countries are asking for an extra payment kuno. here in dubai so far wala. just saying

nag tingin narin ako sa amazon and ebay dati. price range nila is $1400-$1700 which is not that far sa srp dito sa riyadh. anyway direct asus store yung 6000sr price tag. thanks anyway for your suggestion.
