Egyptian Home Theater
First topic message reminder :
Hi CGPinoys & CGPinays,
I've been seeing a TON of excellent renderings posted by all you here lately, I just wanted to share my latest as well.
Here's another home theater design - Egyptian Style - Runco projector - Cinematech Seating - Triad speakers hidden behind the bronze grills. I modelled & rendered with 3ds Max, mental ray.
Hope you like it

Reggie! Thanks for stopping by! Yeah, I guess if I put the movie on, I should dim down the lights...good thing I've got this rendered in lighting passes for that very reason...I'll open a thread soon showing how I render and light in real-time using Max, Combustion and 32bit EXR format...stay tuned...

di na kelangan ng palabas! hehehe
galeng!
would suggest a carpet flooring though..
Thanks torvicz...we have a showroom theater at my office, I just wait for the Blue-rays to come out, invite a few friends, and enjoy the show! You're all free to come by if you're ever in NYC

silvercrown wrote:Wow! Outstanding details!
Yung seats lang sir, theyre abit stiff, if u could change them to comfy, softy type of seats...
Nalula ako sa intricacies ng details sir! ang galing!
Thanks silvercrown...Yeah, you're right, there are a few other types of recliners that are more comfy than these, but this is what the client wanted. I prefer Irwin seating myself. Thanks again for your c&c's!

arkiedmund wrote:Very intricate details....
I'd love to see this lit in a more dramatic way (dimlights, just like inside a cinema).
Astig sa modeling. You really spent sometime doing all those complex stuff.
Keep them coming sir...
Thanks for noticing arkiedmund, you've got a great eye! When i have some time, I'll tweak the lights a bit...

Every details is well executed. I agree with their comments, it is better to see this rendered in dim lighting.

AJ Cortez wrote:dickie_ilagan wrote:looks pretty elegant and admiring theater...
details are rarely seen elsewhere... but
i would go for pillars on rounded shapes
for these are original concepts on egyptian artifacts...
same goes attention on red hieroglyphic symbols on ceiling...
overall work... excellent
Thanks dickie, I saw your thread with your egyptian columns! I'm very impressed. I worked on a different design a while back, a more authentic looking egyptian style theater...but this time, it was what the client had asked for, so I gave it to em. I'll send you the pic if you want. Ingat!
hi brother...
can i ask for some map images instead..??
like the hieroglyphic symbol on ceiling but not the red one and
the human symbol on pillar.. if permitted and available for share...
pls pm thanks brother...
