AutoCAD sweep help Empty AutoCAD sweep help

Post by droo Fri May 25, 2012 1:50 pm

Bakit po ba na twist yung rectangular profile ko pagdating sa itaas na dulo. Wala naman akong nilagay na twist angle, spline nga pala gamit ko sa sweep path. Gusto ko sana vertical pa rin yung profile throughout the entire sweep. Same problem happens pag gumagamit ako ng helix sweep path.

put 2 profile of the shape you want to extrude or sweep, and one path line (3dpoly or spline) between the 2 profiles. use "loft" command. click 2 profiles, enter, choose guide as path, enter, click the path line.

i did align the profile sir, twisting ussualy appears on points near to each other pero kung sa malalayong points ng 3dpoly na profile mo okey naman no twisting happens. extrude by path and sweep give sme result pag sa malalpit na points ng path. loft not sure peru nagwowork sya sa akin 1 loft at a time, means per segment ng path

Sir wala yung "choose guide as path" after ko i-click yung dalawang profile, na-loft siya automatically

after mo i-pick yung dalawang profile, magko-connect talaga yung dalawa as cross section only as loft default setting pero you have the option to choose as guide, path, cross section (default), and settings. watch the command line for options after picking the profiles. anyway, i'm using 2012. not sure sa mga old version kung meron nitong guide as option.

sir correct me if I'm wrong ng run ako ng iba ibang lines. na notice ko pg ang 3Dpoly line nakaline s XYZ axis di mgtwist but kung ang 3dpoly ng polyedit at ginawang spline mgtwist rin sya khit nag align s XYZ axis. gawin m ang lines nakaalign muna s XYZ then rotate m n lng s location nya if necessary.
