I currently have an:

AMD Phenom II X4
8GB ram
ATI HD5670 1gb vidcard

Is it advisable to build another rig with the same specs but no video card (will be using gigabytes on board vid card)
and use it as a render slave?

pwede naman, kaso mura lang din ang ganitong video card. If you have a budget, get a higher specs and make this a render slave.

im targeting for less than 18k for the render slave. will be using it for less than a year. pang tulong lang sa mga projects ngyn. Smile
