Pearl Drive Twin Towers (High-rise)
Hey guys, lemme share a few renders of mine. Back in the summer of 2011 I got a commission from an architecture firm to come up with the design presentation for their project. It was barely past the schematic design phase, and the design kept changing day to day. I stayed in their office for two petiks weeks and these images were my output.
This was the first time I got the chance to utilize Max's XREF system, very handy for large and complex models. All props are Evermotion models (from the trees to the cars to the landscape), some trees were 2D and placed in Photoshop; most of the people populating the scene (also placed in post) came from the free textures in Vyonyx and Tenkei Kobo, but some Hollywood cameos (Brangelina, Emma Watson, Avril Lavigne, Ben Affleck, etc) I personally masked in Photoshop.
You may notice that each photo has a different mood and filter; I made this as a Color Correction experiment.
Please excuse the night shot, it was 95% post processed (the 5% being the raw render without lights except a dusk HDRI) and I did my best to create some night scene magic in Photoshop.
Hope you like it! I'm sure I made a blunder here somewhere, if you happen to see it don't hesitate to say so! Cheers!
PS: i wash my hands of any design claim. My work here is pure viz.

I'm not sure what you meant by mirror, but all the surrounding buildings are low poly 3D meshes with unwrapped textures from Evermotion, then converted to proxies. Thanks bro!

Thanks! The scene was so huge it gave me headaches. I had to learn a lot of things just to make my models lighter with all the geometry going on.
