Honestly dude celes, I don't agree with some of the images in our excellence award.
That is why I put the word "Real".
Di ko alam kung ano ang criteria natin pero I respect naman kung sino yung nagde-decide dito.
I think it's time to level up our standard with giving an award.
Di man sing galing ng kay dude coy pero sana at least a little close to it.
This way maiinspire pa tayo lalong gumaling sa field na to.

But I've been thinking, lately kasi parang ang dali nating magbigay ng award eh.
No disrespect to those who made it to the EA ha?

that's a good point raised torvicz. maybe the mods can address this issue? i notice it too, especially when compared to evermotion or the other cg forums. i mean, wala naman tayong lack of talent, you've got the likes of ryancoy/mnisperos/jeff/rqui etc na kelangan talaga i emulate..

sir, i've been keeping a very old render of yours, yung gawa pa sa pre-VRAY CAMERA version ng vray(in tagalog wala pang vray camera sa vray engine), realistic na din kasi output niyo dun eh. Matagal tagal na din yung image, 2004 pa yata(?).

Proof that really, it's not the tool that counts, it's the artist.

Upto now, clueless pa rin ako kung paano makakakuha ng ganitong output sa renders ko.

This is really inspiring, maybe we should create a tutorial thread regarding how to do this kind of output with the help of sirs ryancoy/mnisperos/jeff/rqui if it's okey with them and to those not mentioned. Same as what sir rendermaster started "3dmax modelling thread". Progressive type ang dating kung may idag dag lang like new related topics. Para naman ma upgrade ang bawat isa sa atin.

world class render sir... tanong ko lang regarding aged textures if you won't mind.. was it painted in PS or did you used vray blend material?

@pedio - yes its unwrapped with vray blend for dirts.

Saw Ronen Beckerman post about this, saying that the set is "one of the best photo-matched renders I’ve seen to date!"

@OP - can you tell us how many environment lights you had ON (minus the ceiling lights in the dining)?
