[help] using line
pano po ba gumawa ng region na gamit nag line, ung parang sa autocad diba po may region na command dun?
kasi ang gs2 ko po mangyari e pag nkagawa na ako ng shape sa line tpos pag inextrude ko gusto ko po ung solid xa, ang nangyyari kc pag extrude ko po e butas po ung gitna

Wala yatang ganun sa max bro. kasi max tries to avoid using solids para mapagaan ang file. what's best to do is do it in cad, and import it sa max. That way, makukuha mo ang gusto mo. good luck!

ai gnun ba, kc minsan pag sa cad po ako nagawa minsan sobra laki nung object, pano ba ausin un?

You can do that in max if your line, spline are closed,weld, and should be at the same plane, para once na nag extrude ka di butas ang gitna.

i dunno why 3ds max did that function of after extruding it leaves a open object... hhmmmm..
but u can use the cap function to close the opening...

try mo po ang close na line then convert mo muna to mesh or poly then extrude...

convert spilne to poly.. den extrude.. den click the modifier tab.. click border.. click mo yung border na hindi na close den click cap.. mag close na yan bro...

make sure ur spline is closed and has no intersecting vertices.
the apply an edit mesh modifier, kung zero lang ang extrusion. avoid extruding na zero ang value, if you forget to unchek the cap start option, double mesh ang result niyan.

if the spline is closed already, convert it to poly and automatically it will create a region on it.

pwde rin po gawin mo nalang yung shape mo sa cad then write block it tapos import mo nalang yung acad file nung shape mo sa max then extrude,,

tol, ask ko sana if you can make a dimension line using spline na parang Autocad..na if u click the line i keyboard mo nalang ang dimension without using the keyboard key sa 3dmax..thanks!
