importing cad file to max

gud day mga master ask ko lang po pano maging smooth ung cad file na import sa max? kac ung arc hndi sya smooth.salamat po ulit...

1. on autocad recheck your smoothness of arc and circle at display resolution

2. you can also type a command by FACETRES and provide higher amount ( .1 to 10) default is .5

(note: i would suggest to take the second option, for the first option it will make the regenertion of the drawing a bit slower)

3. on max ( file linking), once you have link the file to 3d max and attached it already. on the same dialog windows of file link manager, go to file and check the box SHOW RELOAD OPTION then press reload.

on the dialog window that will pop-up, on basic go to Smooth angle and make it 45,

down below, go to maximum surface deviation for 3d solids and make it to .0 , the smallest the better. then hit okay.
