Simple Bedroom Daylight - 2012 - updated!

First topic message reminder :

Hey mga masters tagal na di nakagawa ng interior kaya ito na hehe. This scene is just for practice.
Workflow:
3Ds Max 2011 64bit + Photoshop.
Render time: 8 hrs+
System: i3 + 2GB ram
Vray 1.5 SP5

Paki comment nalang mga boss para mag-improve pa, please share your knowledge masters.

Either change the material of the bed cover or change the bed cover to something more fluid. Right now matigas ang look ng material. I think makukuha mo if you change the glossy part to fallof.

Ambient and rendering is superb!

tanong lang sir bakit yung cornice isang portion lang ang meron ganito ba talaga ang design nya?

noted po sir boks, I'll try to work on that hehe. mahina po kasi ako sa pag timpla ng materials hehe.

sir john thank you sa compliment hehe. yung sa tunkol sa cornice yup ganyan lang talaga design nyan bali magkabilang side lang meron hehe. salamat po sa pag daan at pag comment.

Oh I'm sorry sir Robert I didn't understand your query before.
Btw I've used 'VrayLight' (Plane) with Multiplier set to 3.0 and color is a bit orange/pinkish to give more depth.
In 'Options' tab, Cast shadows, Invisible, Ignore light normals, Affect diffuse, Affect specular, Affect reflections are all "Checked".
and Subdivisions = 8
About the Lampshade lights, I've used two instanced spears with 'Vraylightmaterial' set to 35 and the color is light orange.
I've also controlled the lighting with color curve corrections in vray frame buffer.

TIP: You need to get your material right first before you set up the lighting. (Better to use ready-made materials for accuracy.)

no vray sun this time. For environment I've used pure white background color.
camera is standard target camera with default settings. I don't use vray physical camera hehe.
