what do you mean cantilevered stair? ..materials ( wood, steel, concrete)? stairs itself when no supporting post is cantilevered already.

for concrete its not possible unless you make the steps a bit larger, and or provide a cable on steps end connected on the second floor slab. if its steel structure, i think much better - steel steps connected on steel stair girder - use inverted channel

It shoud be a solid wood inserted into a shear wall or a stair beam/diagonal beam.

Anyway, dapat ipadetalye sa engineer ang structural component nyan, kasi architecturally, it works and it's easy. Good luck!

make beam running at the wall where you expect the tread to meet it. to provide a better moment reistance kabitan mo ng steel plates ang beam then lay on top yung treads mo, then make sure tge bottom is clean, the steel plates should me embedded then apply laminates under, alam na ng carpenter ang gagawin later

Thanks bro.
