Disappearing Layer Empty Disappearing Layer

Good day mga master ask ko lang why sometimes layer disppears when i try to move maybe sa second frame. the layer will be visible only on first frame. the layer is an image jpg and i dont have any other layer in the scence. how could this be mga master? More power cgpips

hmm.. maybe your single image was imported with a frame length of 1?
do yo have a screen grab of the layer in the timeline? Smile

maybe sir. the layer only represents a tiny vertical line on my time line and i could'nt even grab it maybe to strech it out all the way to the lenght of the comp pero ayaw, i guess sa fisrt frame lang siya, when i try to moved the time line the layer disappear, panu kaya to mga master? how to properly import image(single image) into a comp? thanks sir pasinsiya po sir 3dzone and thanks po

A single image when imported will take the length setting in the Preferences>import>Still footage.

So if it is set as one second, any imported still image will automatically be visible for 1 second or 30 frames (depending if one second equals 30 frames in the same preference setting)

This is pretty basic, I would suggest you read the manuals or do the tutorials. AF is a very cool piece of sofware but its like a can of worms. So open the lid slowly...
