distorted premade model on merge
hello any body out there who happen to experience a premade max model, example a car, that became distorted or its parts/elements not in proper position when merged into max?? when i open it in max all is okey but when merged to a max scene its out of order,wasak na.. thanks in advance for the help on how to resolve it.

This happens when the source file has a different world scale than that of the target scene. Or has been messed up via Non-uniform scaling somehow. One way I do error free merging is via xref'ing objects as a scene. Once you you see them in your viewports OK and are able to reposition them via Binding to objects or nulls, you then hit the MERGE button in the xref dialogs.
