Best Output File Format after Rendering

Mga Masters,
ano po ba yung pinakabest na file format pag isesave na yung image after rendering.
is it .BMP .PNG or .TIF?

TIF for high resolution. Pero if you want to have the background automatically removed, PNG ang format. But if you just send it directly to client, ok na ang JPG.

BMP is the last format to use siguro.

.png will give you option to replace BG in post render.

EXPONENTIAL

Color mapping = 1,1,2.2

Save file = PNG/TIFF

VFB = no need to calibrate

Easy to handle in Photoshop


LINEAR:

Color mapping = 1,1,1

Save file = OpenEXR / HDRI

VFR = need to calibrate

Easy to handle in AfterEffects, Fusion,
Combustion

vrayguide recommends in one of his tutorial videos (nakalimutan ko na ang link) when using fake LWF as what he called it (exponential 1/1/2.2) better save in PNG or TIF
and using REAL LWF (linear 1/1/1) save it in EXR or HDR) don't tick the clamp output too on both...

Pwede rin naman atang PSD using PSD Manager plugin in 3dsMax. Teka, ano nga pala ang gamit mo 3D software?

3ds max2009 with vray2 master orange n green..

.


Install ka ng PSD manager plugin and you can save your render to psd.
