hello po sa mga sir...patulong naman po about dito...heto po sir yung dinesign ko na window para sa aking model sa autocad:

medyo madami ang ganyan sa model ko kaya naman nagkakaroon ako ng problem sa polycount kaya naisip ko baka pwede dayain sa opacity mapping at simple rectangle na lang para konti lang ang polygon pero noong pinagaaralan ko na... di ko marurok kung ano po ba ang dapat kong gawin para maging ganyan din ang kalalabasan. Ganito kasi ang lumalabas kapag nilalagyan ko na ng opacity map sa 3ds max:

nagiging manipis lang siya at hindi solid... may paraan ba na magmukhang solid siya? naka-multi/sub-object ang ginawa ko diyan at parehas ng material id yung sides na may opacity map...tama ba ang aking workflow? ano ba mga sir/mam ang tamang workflow para maachieve ko ang ganong product?? scratch

gawa ka ng plane tapos drag and drop mo yung opacity map sa bump slot..then increase the amount..


pero mas matagal mag render ang opacity compared sa geometry...suggest ko i proxy mo na lang.. thumbsup

ganon po ba sir??naisip ko na din i-proxy pero tama ba sir na mas matagal irender ang opacity compared sa geometry??? hindi ba sir tatagal ang rendering kapag mataas ang polycount?? almost 200k kasi yung isang building ko at may 6 building types ako at 30 villas ehh pag nagproxy or xref scene gagaan lang sa viewport diba? pero sa rendering?? confused confused confused

Kung malayo naman ang image, opacity na single lang. Walang difference yun lalo na kung mga patterns. Yung mga malalapit sa camera, yun ang gawin mong 3d.
