material editor in 3dsmax

hi cg peeps, patulong po kasi hindi nagpapakita yung material editor ko hindi tuloy ako makapagapply ng materials.. thanks

reinstall mo nalang maam

alin po ung hindi makita ung icon or ung mismong material editor. kung ung icon lang press mo na lang "M"

ginawa ko na yun sir ayaw talaga..thanks

kung ayaw mo pong mg reinstall... try mo punta sa

Customize,

custom UI and Defaults Switcher,

select mo na lang kung alin user setting na ginagamit mo then SET.

pag wala pa reinstall na lang po.

reinstall ko na rin sir wla pa rin ano na kaya problema dito?

if your don't want to reinstall..

try this immediately after pressing 'M'
- press ALT+SPACEBAR
- press M
- then press any of the ARROW KEYS
- then move your mouse around
..you should see the material editor window moving with your mouse.


if not, you could also try to search for the "Give me back my dialogs!" script at scriptspot.com


curious lng ako, were you on a multiple monitor setup before?

two things you can do
- while 3dmax is open press m ( for material editor shortcut), since you are not seeing the material editor dialog box, still you can see the toolbar icon for material is higlighted, right click on your toolbar and select cascade window.

- if the above doesnt answer your problem, then delete your 3dmax.ini file and restart your 3d max.
