Autodesk 123D Sculpt for iPad
hey guys i just want to share this video i've seen from a particular website, it's Autodesk 123D Sculpt for iPad.. compared to zbrush, Autodesk 123D Sculpt is a hands on sculpting like modeling a wax or clay in actual using the multi-touch tools.
Users can choose from one of 17 starting shapes, including creatures, people, vehicles and basic geometric objects, then choose from a wide variety of tools to enlarge, shrink, warp or refine their creation’s features, and finally snap a photo or record an HD turntable movie to share the work with others on various social networks, including Facebook, Flickr or YouTube.
The app supports importation, as well as the iPad 2’s camera, allowing artists to stencil onto their 3D creation for more originality.
Many of the familiar interface elements from the well known Autodesk SketchBook Pro can be found in the Autodesk 123D Sculpt app, the company said.
“We built Autodesk 123D to make 3D design accessible to the maker movement, and the 123D Sculpt app takes this even further into the realm of personal sculpture and digital art,” said Samir Hanna, vice president of Consumer Products at Autodesk.
“With the 123D Sculpt app, you don’t have to be Michelangelo to create amazing painted sculptures.”
Available for free for a limited time from the App Store, the Autodesk 123D Sculpt app for iPad supports five different packs of four shapes (purchasable separately for $.99 each through In-App Purchase), to further enhance creative experience.
