sketchup to 3dmax

pano po kaya yung tamang way ng pageexport mula sketchup papuntang 3dmax? this is what im doing pero parang mali kasi nagiging black yung ibang surface pag nasa 3d max na para bang naflip.. import>import non-native file formats to 3ds max tapos sselect ko yung file.. tama po ba ito? hehe.. BTW im using 3ds max design 2012.. ano po kaya tamang way? thank you po..

Bago ka magexport, i-monochrome mo muna para makita mo ang mga naka-backface. I-reverse mo lahat, then export mo. Yun lang actually yun.

Best is to start with a clean model. Bago ka maglagay ng material, make sure na white face ang surface.

actually kung ang gamit mo max 2011/2012 pwede mo iexport directly ang model(skp format), then right click on the viewport>>> convert to vray ek ek..

new to this workflow too, tanong ko lang po, how do we prepare the model before exporting it ti max? kagaya po ba ng sa cad na each material ay layered? export po ba as DWG file? salamat sa walang sawang pag tulong mga master

done what you've said coz i am using 3dsmax design 2012 pero, saan po ba makikita yung convert to vray na yan? kasi pag nagright click ako sa viewport after ko iimport yung galing sa sketch up pro ang nakikita ko lang na may convert ay convert to editable mesh, editable poly, at editable patch.

pasensya na baguhan lang kasi ako at clueless talaga..

right click yun sir vray scene converter..kapag may nakainstall ka na vray makikita mo yun pero pag wala hindi mo yun makikita

ahh...ok..ganun pala...so dapat mag iinstall din ako ng vray sa 3dsmax 2012 ko? parang ang meron sa 2012 ay mental ray at iray...hmmm dami ko pa talaga dapat iexplore..

Third party renderer yung vray sir kaya kailangan pang iinstall...
