How to Use Multi Converter.....HELP!!!

mga master & sensei need po ako ng help sa mga expertise niyo sa mental ray....ganito po kasi yung problem ko sa tuwing magrender po ako gamit yung evermotion models gamit ang renderer na mental ray....it turns black yung render output ng mga evermotion templates...so edosayla sensei suggest me to use multiconverter para mairender yung vray materials nya sa mental ray...kaso po the bottomline is i dont know how to use multi converter...baka may mga video tuts po kayo on how to use multi converter or screen shots po.....hehehehe i hope sa lahat ng mga expert na masters & sensei matulongan nyu po ako....TIA!

It doesnt meant that converting vray materials to mental ray is just like a button that when you push it ....toinkkkk...all vray materials become mental ray. its not a one stop solution. what it means is you have to manually convert those materials into mental ray capable like standard material, a&d material, architectural material and mental ray material. you will need to remapped those bitmap images used in vray materials into your mental ray materials and or copy those properties and apply it to your mental ray capable materials like the color, opacity if you may, reflection amount and more. in other words you need some trials to see the best result.

there some script available converting those vray mat to mental ray, but still its not a one stop solution. it will just copy the color but the properties (reflections etch. ) and maps (bitmaps) are not. you need to do the task.

master render sensei ganito din po ba yung gamit niyong version ng Gtools converter?
