sir mokong!
- ramdam ko nga masyado ka nga na-inspire sir... heheheh
daming patterns and daminig kulay and daming styles - sabog na...
sana concentrate ka sa 2 colors pag ganyan karami na yung patterns
or play it safe - neutrals...
your wf, please?

Looks good..
Add ko lang sa comments; images 1 & 3 too sharp lang talaga kaya naging CG-ish na in my opinion.. View 4 looks best for me dahil na counter-balance ng DOF yung sharpness.. I think the GI is good enough not to need the extra sharpness.. Ganda ng details..

thanks mam.. you have your point i keep that in mind.. yung tie back po ganyan na talaga pag merge ko sa scene, it looks ok naman for me pero medyo may kalakihan nga.. anyway regarding sa work flow.. it's all done in max.. furniture are pre-modelled but i did some modification sa materials.. as for my lighting I use vray sun and dome light.. usually I use catmull-rom for my AA filter but for this VraySincFilter with size 1.4, it gives me not too sharp edges makes the render faster, I will add only the sharpness in PS.. color mapping gamma 1.8 but i tweak the color correction in the vray frame buffer then save it as open exr...

salamat sir yaug.. tama ka i have mapping issues sa blanket.. hindi ko na fix..

thanks sir cloud.. napasobra lang talaga sa sharpness.. mas gusto ko kasi yung crisp and sharp renders... i will try again next time..

Re: Interior 01 (UPDATED)
@sirMokong; no biggie.. I used to sharpen like crazy before kasi somehow it brings up all the details sa scene.. Till a lot of googling & papa Celes' remark "huh? naka catmull ka na nag sharpen ka pa sa PS?" made me rethink my workflow. Now its either I use catmull/blackman/mitchell & not sharpen at all sa PS or have NO antialiasing & unsharp mask sa PS.
Try mo detail enhancement sa irr map, though medyo mabigat sa render times..

oo nga napa isip din ako bakit ako mag catmull kung mag sharpen din naman ako sa PS.. so i use not too sharp AA filters para konti na lng sharpness add ko sa PS.. then may issues din ang catmull lalo na sa light material sumusobra siya sa RGB 255 kina clamp niya yung colors.., lalo na naka check ang sub-pixel mapping at clamp output.. IMO... thanks sir cloud for the inputs...

Re: Interior 01 (UPDATED)
@mokong - thanks a lot for the wf... [i think you preferred the so-called "cheats" eh? - PS...hehe] how come the colors of wood and leather sa updates drastically changed - from black to brown? merely coz of IES or vray sun? [kung kelan nag gabi, dun lumiwanag yung colors...hmm... strange...] won't it look more accurate in gamma 2.2?
@cloud20 - [not my work but] a bunch of thanks for the follow-thru... good to learn from other's experience [just when's the right time to halt], keen eye for sharpness and the suggestion for detail enhancement...

yeah it's because of the lights i use light yellow color my lights and IES.. i have the same color balance use in the day scene and night scene, only i tweak the cyan color in the shadows but not too much.. i did not use gamma 2.2, 1.8 gives me more allowance to play with the contrast in post processing, i use open exr BTW...

Re: Interior 01 (UPDATED)
@sirMokong & madam(?)shadows; its just that I'm really impressed sa set na ito ni sir Mokong, (if I remember correctly CE pa yan hindi Arki ha) that I couldn't help na magcomment para lalong tumingkad/gumanda pa, in my perception lang po. Pa-add din, sharpening filters will almost always produce edge artifacts thereby necessitating the subpixel mapping & clamp output options.. And since open exr output ka kamo sir Moks bad-bad yang clamping output dahil nalilimit ang options mo to tweak the exr output in post-pro.. Napahaba ata didn't mean to pontificate..

Salamat sir cloud.. yup CE ako sir, but i love this hobby.. gusto kong matuto talaga.. i have high level of respect sa mga architect natin, I did not intend to compete kaya nga sa mga post ko i dis not mention architectural visualization for the repsect, I do admit wala akong knowledge when it comes to architectural visualization but kumakayod ako matuto ng konti.. salamat sa inyo mga kakusang arki may natutunan ako..
BTW napaluha ako ah.. hehe... i dont use clamp output na yan.. mawawala lang yung exact na kulay, could go beyond RGB 255.. sometimes jagged edges, for some CG experts na nabasa ko they don't use AA filters..

i think you actually got it rather short... [errr...still trying to digest your last few remarks] "bad-bad" sounds like "double dead" to me.... anyhow, your online presence in this thread and the forum is highly regarded by me [at least?] especially when lighting matters gets pretty pickle...thanks again. [no hint of pontification IMHO.]
@mokong
parang 1st time nyo po ata dito sa interior? pero galing na... heheh - may backup pa ng qatar dudes... ayos!
*gotcha! re the drastic change in wood...thanks
